i'm asking cus i'm leaving for a long time (6 months in the military) and i won't be able to check my myspace and I know i'm gonna get myspace friend requests while i'm gone and i don't want the requests to disapear before I get back.

So my simple question is, when someone gets a friend request and they don't check it as accepted or denyed, how long does the request stay active/pending? If I leave tomorrow and someone asks to be my friend the day after i leave, will I still see who made a friend request when I get back in six months?

Don't worry about it. The friend requests wont go away. They will stay there from the minutes they are sent until whenever you accept or deny. Don't worry, you will still be able to add your friends when you get back, and good luck going away with the military! Stay safe =]

The only reason it might go away is that it takes you so long to accept or deny the request, the person thinks that you don't care or rejected them and delete the request themselves.

it will stay forever.. unless they go to pending requests and cancel the friend request... maybe you should ask a trusting friend to check it every once in a while just to make sure.
