i cant message him

and if i wanna add him as my friend i have to have his last name or email address.

But everytime i type in his last name it says invalid so he probably changed it to whatever.

First off, Hacking is illegal unless you are government, and know that this person is doing something bad. my suggestion is to let it go.

The only way that you can add him is if you ask permission to view his profile.
