I have two Myspace profiles. One is for people I am in the closet to, the other I just made, and says that I am gay. On the gay one, I see a lot of gay themed ads. Does Myspace use the information on my profile to send me specificaly themed advertisements?

Of course - that is the information you gave them and they in turn will use that to send ads to you that they believe will be of a particular interest to you.

It sure does, hun. They use regular dating ads on straight people's profiles and gay ones for us. Makes sense, doesn't it? We wouldn't use straight sites and they wouldn't use ours.
