Do you think www.myspace.com is a bad site? personaly i think so because of the news and there this 10yr old who's on it constanly at the local library. Can www.myspace.com be harmful to anyone UNDER 18?

I am very much anti-myspace. I think it is a complete waste of time, and really just a way to advertise yourself and make new pseudo-friends. I also agree that it is potentially dangerous hunting grounds for online predators, but the site doesn't allow anybody who claims to be under 16 to post a profile. Too many of my peers use myspace constantly. Also, a note to all you parents of teens out there, if you want to find out if your kid is misbehaving, look no further than there myspace profile. Despite anybody being able to view their profile, many of my classmates post pictures of themselves with booze, scantily clad girlfriends, etc.

Yes. In fact, it can be harmful to anyone who shares their personal information. Some people put their telephone numbers, addresses, and other personal information on their myspace accounts. If someone wanted to find out something about them, they could easily do this by looking at myspace. Also, myspace is meant for people at least 14 years old.
