Is it true?
Lately some of my friends have bulletins posted in their names with links to sites offering free ringtones, ice cream, etc.
Most of the same bulletins are re-posted by the same people over and over.
Once, again, is it true?

It's true that myspace accounts get hacked all the time, not so much myspace itself...alot of the time the things that people copy and paste into their profiles contain other links/pics that people don't know about that are already in the code... thats probably what you are seeing over and over...

My space, Yahoo, xanga, and many other web portals/info sites get hacked on a regular basis.
