Most of these people become "famous" by making myspace their life. They are constantly adding people (and bands, that's probably where a lot of their "friends" are coming from) and never declining anyone's add. You don't need these kinds of fake "friends" it's much better to have a great base of friends who actually know and like you.

people with loads of friends on my space and facebook have them only because they go adding people they don't even know! everyone knows its impossible to actually know 200people even if most are just acquaintance's. these types of people are sad just forget about it!

and everyone else gets asked by the hot girl to be her friend, and they can't deny because she is hot, and most people like to be associated with hot/cool people to help boost their own ego.

don't get pulled into doing that. you can't live your life through a computer screen. what stories will you have to tell your grandkids?

A lot of these kids that have a myspace go on there to get a few friends to talk with. I myself have myspace and I don't allow anyone under the age of 18 on my list. I have friends from here that are on my list as well as people that I have met in person. Overall what it boils down to is these kids want to talk to other people from other cities and States that they like not realizing the dangers that are out there.
