I have just recently visited a friends myspace page to see if i could contact him. I do not have a myspace myself so I really do not know much about it, The page loaded but the the computer automaticly froze, I rebooted and by the time my internet signed in again it froze again. I did this several times when i decided to use the ctrl + alt + delete to see what prog.'s i was running. i saw some useless ones and ended them, but it froze for the last time. I ran msconfig on 'start-%26gt;run' and disabled some things at startup so it would run smoothly, this is a 6 year, almost 7 year Windows 98SE. It has had no problems so far. So my question is, could my friend possibly have infected me (unintentionally of course) with a virus. NOTE: i have noticed myspace does take a while to load even on a good DSL connection. Thanks.

Well, if your friend uses a layout code, then yes, it could infect your PC. Always use an Anti virus software protection to protect your computer...

Yeah, myspace does take a long time to load occasionally, even if you have DSL, and that is because the server is over loaded with people..

myspace seems to be loaded with viruses lately and the site doesn't protect you. many people on yahoo answers have gotten worms and. even trojans. i have a site but i don't maintain it and i won't go on it anymore even with all the security i have. do a system restore and boot in safe mode to see if you are infected. don't delete any programs in thetask manager system till you know exactly what they do.. sorry hope this helps
